Interview

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE GEO PLC ?

Raising awareness of the existence of the CEE system was necessary but not sufficient. In order to really exploit the substantial assets at Bouygues Construction and enhance productivity, I quickly understood the need to establish a common procedure within the group. The strategy being :
•On the one hand, the quest for a company capable of bringing added value to CEE case processing;
•On the other hand, the launch of trial period for targeted projets in order to assess the professionalism, the responsiveness and the quality of the company’s responses.

It was precisely the implementation of this stragegy which confirmed our decision to choose GEO PLC to accompany us in this process.

HOW ARE CEE AN IMPORTANT DRIVER FOR YOUR COMPANY ?

As I mentioned earlier, Bouygues Construction has considerable assets in various sectors, whether it be industrial, residential or commercial. The desired longterm benefits are :
•Identification, via a simple and dedicated processus, all renovation work that is potentially eligible for CEEs ;
•Seeking an added value we could offer to our customers ;
•And of course the economic valorisation will act as a key incentive as energy efficiency operations are undertaken.

These are the elements that give us the opportunity to accompany our customers by offering solutions that increase their competitiveness and contribute to their social and environmental performance.

CAN WE SAY THAT THE CEE SYSTEM STRENGTHENS BOUYGUES’ CSR EFFORT?

Absolutely. Bouygues Construction is very committed to the CSR effort, which can be summed up in two words : « responsible » and « committed ». Being responsible means respecting everyone’s interests : customers, partners, the environment and a range of stakeholders. Responsability is taken every day via individual and collective initiatives which give us the opportunity to be exemplary.

Being committed means contributing by taking concrete actions in the field – to address major societal challenges : employability and local ancrage, openness to civil sociéty, integration and solidarity. Bouygues Construction’s CSR effort is composed of 12 commitments which determine our daily modus operandi. To name a few : ethics, circular economy, biodiversity, carbon strategy and energy. I would like energy efficiency operations to be carried out via the CEE system with GEO PLC’s support, in the aim of strengthening the group’s CSR strategy and commitments.
